LAURA JURCEVICH
Laura joined the firm in January 2008. Her area of expertise
is immigration law. She handles a variety of immigration
matters for businesses and individuals. She assists employers
in their quest to obtain immigrant and nonimmigrant visas for
employees, as well as ensuring I-9 compliance. She is a
member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA)
and the Columbus Bar Association. Laura is fluent in Spanish.
With her help, immigrants have obtained permanent residency
status, nonimmigrant visas, temporary protected status,
asylum, and waiver of foreign residency requirement.
Laura received her J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz
College of Law in 2003 and her B.S. from The Ohio State
University in 2000. She is admitted to practice law in the
State of Ohio and the U.S. District Court, Southern District
of Ohio.
Laura is Board Trustee of Community Mediation Services of
Central Ohio and an active participant in Franklin County’s
Interfaith Legal Services Clinic. With the support of her
husband, who is a professional athlete and co-owner of a
local running company, Laura has successfully completed
several half marathons.
