ANDREW “DREW” WACHTMAN
Drew’s experience has been primarily in civil defense
litigation and general practice. He has substantial
first chair jury trial and appellate experience, as well as
experience with various business formation
transactions. Prior to joining our firm, Drew was
engaged in insurance defense and business litigation.
He has also served as Associate General Counsel for a major
corporation. Drew’s litigation experience has enabled
him to practice extensively throughout the courts in
Ohio. Drew also consults on business and risk
management issues.
As a student, Drew received an award from the Ohio
Association of Economists and Political Scientists for an
article on consumption taxes. He was a two-year member
of the law review serving as a member and Articles
Director. Drew was published in 1992 for his article
"The EU Commission de Havilland Decision: Potential Problems
in European Community Merger Control are Realized." He
also served as a legal intern for Chief Justice Thomas Moyer
of the Ohio Supreme Court and for the Ohio Secretary of
State, Corporation Division.
Drew received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, in
Business Administration and Economics from Capital University
in 1990. In 1993, he graduated, Order of the Curia,
from Capital University Law and Graduate Center. Drew is a
member of the Columbus and Ohio State Bar Associations and
admitted in all Federal and State Courts of Ohio
Drew and his wife are the proud parents of three daughters.
